Earlier assessment may facilitate timely diagnosis and improve outcomes, particularly as routine screening guidelines often begin later in adulthood.

No one is too young to develop cancer, although it remains relatively uncommon. Improving our understanding of which populations are at elevated risk—and the underlying reasons—can help inform clinical decision-making and guide public health strategies aimed at reducing the overall burden of disease.
